Kettle Jeffries, or Machine Jeffries, is the season 3 incarnation of mysterious FBI Agent Phillip Jeffries from Fire Walk With Me. He appears as a steaming machine in a mysterious room, accessible only via the Convenience Store.
Kettle Jeffries exists in a room in the Mauve Zone.
- When Mr. C visits Jeffries, he’s only seeing Jeffries, they’re not actually in the same motel room. In the following images, you can see the radiator in the bottom left bleeding through the apparition of Jeffries.
- When MIKE and Coop visit Jeffries, it looks like they are in the room with Jeffries:
- When Mike and Coop are walking towards Jeffries’ room, the outside of the building they’re entering looks the same as the material the Purple Tower is made of
- The dome of Jeffries’ room is the same as the ceiling of Naido’s Palace
What Does It All Mean?
I think the facts here do a pretty good job of speaking for themselves. However, Just what is Phillip even doing in the Mauve Zone? Like many things about Jeffries, there’s a good chance we’ll never know.
Kettle Jeffries is, indeed, in the Mauve Zone.
Jeffries being in the Mauve Zone opens a lot of lanes. Since Mr. C accesses him through the convenience store, and the woodsmen seem to be able to get at him whenever they like, it seems like these creatures have some kind of access or control over the Mauve Zone in a way they probably shouldn’t, considering it’s where the Fireman lives.
